We Are Legally Responsible For The Following:

  • The structure and exterior of your house, including the walls, floors, ceiling and roof
  • Drains, gutters and external pipes
  • Gas, electricity and plumbing systems
  • Baths, basins and toilets
  • Heating and hot water supply
  • External doors and windows (not re-glazing unless a crime number has been provided and a statement made to confirm that the tenant, or member of family or visitor, has not caused the damage)
  • Skirting boards, plasterwork (not narrow cracks or small holes)
  • Chimneys, chimney stacks and gas fires
  • Boundary walls and fences
  • Pathways, steps or other means of escape
  • Garages and stores included with the premises (not sheds)
  • Lifts and adaptations for the disabled that have been installed by us
  • Tree maintenance
  • Communal aerials
  • In addition, we will make good, as far as possible, any areas disturbed by repair work.?
