The experienced care team are on site 24-hours a day and provide high quality care for people living in their own homes, whilst still promoting independent living, and respecting your privacy, dignity and choice.

A community alarm link with 24-hour support is also available.

Extra Care provides an opportunity for you to live independently and allows couples and friends to stay together.  You can participate in activities with other tenants and the local community as much or as little as you choose.

Costs

Detailed information on costs is available separately. However, there are three fundamental elements involved in the cost of Extra Care Housing:

• The cost of renting
• The service charges associated with your home, for maintenance and any communal facilities
• The cost of the care and support services thatyou receive.

The amount you pay will vary depending on your individual situation and your income. You may have to pay for all the costs or you may be eligible for benefits. We will be able to provide you with further advice on this.
