Working with Young Offenders
This project provides dedicated housing related support to individuals from Gwynedd and Mon aged 14 –18, who are engaged with the Gwynedd & Ynys Mon Youth Justice Services. Vulnerable young people are encouraged to tackle, not only their offending behaviour which will be the responsibility of the Youth Justice Services, but other associated and contributory problems connected to preventing homelessness. The project provides suitable and timely housing advice and support for a specific group of service users, as part of a wider package of provision to meet their needs.
Referrals for the project come directly from the Youth Justice Services.
Support is provided throughout the working week – 9am – 5pm and is tailored to meet the needs of the individuals.
