The Community Fund was established in 2015 by North Wales Housing.
The Fund aims to provide financial support towards the development of locally-beneficial community-based projects and initiatives that are based in the counties of Conwy, Gwynedd, and Ynys Mon.
Applications are invited from voluntary, community, recreational or resident organisations and/or groups in Conwy, Gwynedd, Denbighshire, Wrexham and Ynys Mon.
Your organisation or group should be developing projects and initiatives that benefit the local community and residents of North Wales Housing.
Amount of funding available
Awards typically range from £25 to £250.
Applicants can apply for financial support if their work reflects the values of North Wales Housing. Those should be demonstrated and are:

And you must be:
- A constituted organisation/group and have a bank account with a minimum of two signatories.
- Follow an open access policy towards membership, use of their facilities and participation in activities.
- Be non-political

The Community Fund will not fund
- Political activities
- Religious activities
- Promotion of personal objectives or anything that is not consistent with North Wales Housing corporate objectives (link here).
- Private-sector profit-making enterprises or individuals.
Please note
- Groups are required to take reasonable steps to ensure that their activities can be made available for as broad a range of people as possible and that positive measures are put in place to remove any barriers to access.
- No group, which has applied for and received funding in consecutive years, should automatically assume that funding would continue.
- Each application will be treated on its merits.
- Applications must demonstrate how the funding could benefit North Wales Housing residents.
- Groups and organisations should normally expect only one grant per financial year.
- Our Community Fund is a limited fund and not all applications meeting the criteria will be successful.
