Mirror, Mirror on the wall. Who is the most active of them all?
Hwb Cae Erw/Acre Field Hub will certainly be giving it their all after securing a Community Fund grant from North Wales Housing to buy a dance mirror for their community centre.
The non-profit independent community groups, which is based in Glan Conwy, looks after the community centre which offers a diverse range of activities and services for all ages, making it the perfect place for residents to connect, learn, and grow together.
The Centre which is run solely by volunteers provides activities for various groups including Brownies, Rainbows, Guides, Qigong, as well as toddler football, dance classes, community clean up days and community fairs.
Richard Fishlock, a committee member, said:
“We’re always looking to improve activities for residents. By having this new mirror in the main activity room, it will help increase learning opportunities for all our groups.
“From games and education classes to dancing, the large wall mirror will help volunteer teachers and dance instructors to show children various movements. It also facilitates enhanced learning through visual feedback.”
