At North Wales Housing, we want our residents to share thoughts and views with us on how we are doing. We are determined to Make a Difference and Transform Lives across North Wales. It’s a role we can’t do alone, we need the help and experience of our residents.
In 2024, we are marking our 50th year in housing so what better time to launch ‘Resident Voice’. Resident Voice is a series of session where there is an opportunity for residents of North Wales Housing to come together to discuss how we build that better future for all residents and ensure that you love where you live.
It’s easy to get involved, it’s open to all NWH residents and it’s an informal gathering. You can choose to attend either in-person, or online, where you share your views with us.
In return, we promise to make you feel welcome. And we offer every resident who joins a session a £5 Amazon or Tesco voucher, or alternatively you can choose for us to donate £5 in your name to our charity of the year, the Welsh Air Ambulance.
We want as many residents as possible to be involved in helping shape decision-making which is why any resident of North Wales Housing can join a Resident Voice session. It’s a great opportunity for us to hear your views and help us understand what you really think.
Sound good? Coming along to a session is simple. You just need to let us know if you’re planning to join one (or more) of the sessions by emailing [email protected] or by calling 01492 572727. One of our team will come back to you with all the information you need and details on how to join on the day.
First up is our Customer Experience Team, which looks after Resident Participation and Engagement; Resident Satisfaction and Complaints and Communications with residents.
About Resident Voice
There will be six sessions of Resident Voice held every year. Each session will have a dedicated topic to discuss, and you can hear from the team behind the service. You will have an opportunity to share your experiences and views and ask us any questions. Meeting dates, topics and a summary of outcomes from each meeting will be made available on our website. Meetings will also be advertised on our social media channels in advance.
We welcome open and honest discussion and feedback on the topics. Although in the interests of fairness and ensuring everyone gets to have their say, we do ask if you have individual issues to please raise them with a member of our team at the end of the session.
Meetings for those wishing to come along in-person will be held at North Wales Housing office (Our office is located at Plas Blodwel, Broad St, Llandudno Junction, LL31 9HL) or you can attend online.
Who will be there?
Teams from different areas of North Wales Housing will join a Resident Voice session depending on the topic. And we will also invite some of our board members to attend. Residents can join sessions as little or as often as they like. All we ask is that you register in advance and let us know that you are planning to come along.
