Helena Kirk - Chief Executive
Helena Kirk joined North Wales Housing as Chief Executive in October 2016. Helena has worked in the housing sector since 1982, gaining extensive experience working for local authorities and both traditional and stock transfer RSLs. Her roles started with front line customer service and have included three previous Director positions in Birmingham, Coventry and Hereford. Prior to joining North Wales Housing she was a member of the Executive team at Shoreline Housing Partnership in Lincolnshire for 6 years. She joined Shoreline Housing Partnership in 2010 returning to a role with direct responsibility for customer services from 7 years working in housing consultancy. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and has a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

Malcolm Wilson - Interim Resources Director
A qualified accountant Malcolm has nearly 25 years’ experience working as a director for Housing Associations in England and Wales. Previously he undertook a variety of roles in the local government, new towns and the private sector. During his career Malcolm has run finance, support service and operational departments and over the past 25 years has raised or refinanced over £1billion of loans and bonds. He has also held the position of company secretary at a number of organisations establishing strong governance arrangements in three newly formed stock transfer housing associations and established one of the first audit committees operated by a housing association. Throughout his career he has sought to build strong governance and financial structures to ensure that the organisations he worked for have been able to maintain highest standards in terms of board operations, regulatory compliance and financial reporting. Malcolm also has extensive experience as a non-executive director over the past 20 years sitting on a number of charitable and social enterprises Boards, including a regulator appointment, and has experience of chairing Boards and audit committees.

Jude Horsnell - Communities Director
Jude has worked as a Director for NWH since March 2004, and has had a variety of responsibilities during that time.  She is currently responsible for the delivery of services by the General Housing, Supported Housing and Older Persons teams. Prior to moving to live and work in North Wales, Jude worked for Local Authorities in West and North Yorkshire, and also worked in a challenging role managing the provision of housing and support services for asylum seekers dispersed by the Home Office across West Yorkshire and Humberside. Jude has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing since 1990.

Phil Danson - Places Director
Phil joined North Wales Housing in April 2007 to take up a newly created role of Business Development Director. The purpose of the role was to lead the Development team and achieve an increased development programme in terms of social housing grant secured, numbers of units produced across a range of types of provision and across a wider geographical area.  We have now successfully established Domus Cambria, our trading company to develop non grant funded schemes.  His area of responsibility has changed over the last three years and now includes Asset Management and his job title has been updated to Places Director, following a review of the senior management structure. Phil is a Corporate Member of the Chartered Institute of Housing having completed a Housing Studies Professional Diploma through Sheffield Hallam University.  His overriding purpose is to ensure we maximise the benefits of all the projects we undertake to the wider communities in which we operate.
