As well as offering homeless accommodation St Mary’s hostel and the Outreach and Resettlement Team offer a gate service in Bangor, working with street homeless whom who we can’t accommodate.
This service provides crucial support to help the homeless stay warm and dry, offering food, clothing items and emergency camping provisions such as tents and sleeping bags.
We rely heavily on donations from individuals and businesses to be able to help keep the service going. If you would like to help we would gratefully appreciate the following items:
- Camping provisions: Tents, sleeping bags
- Good quality clothing items: Hats, gloves, socks, scarves, coats, underwear
- Food: Any tinned items, meat, pasta sauces, crisps, biscuits, cereal and cereal bars
