What we’re doing to help you

We understand that this is an extremely challenging time for you, and we want to be here to support and protect you as much as we can.

Some of the things we are doing to help protect you, our staff and the wider community are:

  • Closed all our offices
  • All staff who can do so are now working from home
  • We initially reduced the level of Repairs. However we are now carrying our Repairs and servicing where safe to do so. We have put in place measures to ensure everyone’s safety.
  • When Maintenance come into your home we will be practicing social distancing and will be wearing relevant protective equipment
  • Where support is usually received face to face we are supporting tenants in other ways
  • We are urging all tenants who are in self-isolation to let us know
  • Cancelled any planned events until further notice

Welfare calls

We have contacted tenants to check on their wellbeing and to help with their concerns, starting with the most vulnerable. As a result we helped tenants with their shopping, picking up prescriptions and help with electricity/gas meter top ups. If you need any help from us please get in touch with us.

Our Rents team have also been contacting our tenants, offering their advice on any change in circumstances. If you’re not sure what financial support is available take a look on this page. You can contact the Rents Team on [email protected] or call 01492 572727
