NWH go digital

North Wales Housing has gone digital for its annual review.

The association has taken the decision to go 100% online with its 2014 annual review, developing an animated, engaging and innovative piece of work using the latest software including html5.

Also a celebration of the associations 40th birthday, the annual review gives users the opportunity to review the year that’s passed or go back further and discover more about NWH, journeying through the past four decades. At the centre of both timelines sits a short film featuring founding NWH board member, Alice Robinson, who shares her memories of the association during an interview with Chief Executive Paul Diggory.

The 2014 annual review includes a combination of text, images, photographs, film and animation.

Paul Diggory said:

“We understand the importance of communicating online and felt it was important to demonstrate our commitment to it by developing the annual review in a solely digital format.”

“I’m incredibly impressed with the results. We have managed to include so much important information and deliver it in a way that we hope is visually stimulating, insightful and engaging. We understand that people ultimately don’t want to trawl through reams of paper and may be more receptive to learning more about NWH in this format. It’s also saved money on printing and postage.”

He added:

“Moving forward we’ll be exploring other ways of communicating with our tenants, partners and stakeholders using a digital format, considering ideas that ultimately help us get the message across and encourage interaction and engagement. “
