Strong turnout for NWH employment opportunities open day

North Wales Housing reported a strong turnout for its first ever employment opportunities open day.

Held at two venues, the NWH office at Plas Blodwel in Llandudno Junction and the organisation’s Dean Street office in Bangor, over 100 people called in to find out more about positions available both now and in the future.

Lynne Williams, Head of Personnel said:

“We wanted people to know about the diversity of employment opportunities that we have on offer here at North Wales Housing. We had a number of colleagues available on the day to share their experiences of working at North Wales Housing in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.”

As well as providing information on vacancies, NWH also offered advice on how to complete applications, explained more about the organisation’s Welsh language policy and provided an insight into the benefits that the organisation offers to its employees.

Lynne added:

“We are a growing organisation and currently have positions available and will have more in the future. We will be asking for feedback from the people that attended our Open Day to plan for further events but in the meantime we will be advising them of any future vacancies that we have. “
